Mr. Carter, what are you doing to me. First you say you are going to retire, then you come back with a lackluster album. Then you come back with one of the best mixtapes/albums for a mediocre movie (yeah, I said it: American Gangster was just so-so) then you keep dropping singles that just kill one after the other. What the hell are you teasing me for? Do you want me to beg?
Fine, please, make another album. I need you. The world needs you.
P.S. Tell your wife to chill, she’s kinda ODing on this Sasha Fierce thing.
Those Detroit gents, Adam’s Castle will be gracing Brooklyn’s premiere venue Southpaw on Tuesday, November 25th with yet another set of audio decadence for your most delicate palette. You will see us joining in reverie with other Silenoi.

It’s been a minute (well, a bit more than a week) since the last update and I apologize. We’re getting ready to drop the new season of stuff soon and we’ve been slaving in front of computer monitors and screen printing tables making samples and tweaking stuff. I did find some distraction on Saturday however when a bunch of heads and I went to see GIRLTALK at Terminal 5 this Saturday past (November 15th) and crunked out with my junk out. If you are not familiar with the work of Mr. Greg Gillis fret not, I’ve included a brief sample form his most recent album Feed The Animals below:
Girltalk - Give Me A Beat
His music is best described as a taking a buttload of songs from now and then, compacting them in a garbage truck and then throwing a rave inside said garbage truck with a leprechaun DJ making it rain gold coins. Yes, it’s that good. His show was decent. There were a bit too many meatnecks and “cool kids” there for my taste but all in all it was a good show.
Speaking of cool kids, I was fishing around and stumbled upon this beauty:
Seems like somebody went and took sugar and made it even sweeter. I dare say that this remixtape is BETTER than the original. After the first listen my heart smiled the same way it did when I heard The Grey Album; all warm and fuzzy like. I highly recommend you make this download and crank it up to 11 on the iPod because as alphapack says, “This shit BANGS!”
Last night alphapack and I went out to Hugs (my new favorite place) in Williamsburg BK to watch history happen. This post would have been put up earlier but instead of listening to Minister Farrakhan we stayed out and got wasted.
Brooklyn blew the fukk up last night as countless heads, from hipsters to hoodrats, took to the streets in celebration of Obama/Biden taking The White House. It is truly a great day in America.

The Knux just might be my favorite new hip hop group out now. They’re young, they’re fun and they have something to say, which is rare considering I can’t understand a gosh darn thing that comes out of Soldier Boy’s mouth. His whole thing is “Tell ‘Em” but what the hell is he tellin’ em? “You to can make it big if you rhyme like you’ve been huffing paint thinner over some beats made on My First Sony.
Anyway, check out The Knux if you haven’t because there is a reckoning coming and change indefinitely will come.
Everybody knows I’m not a fan of that “Love Lock Down” track by Kanye. The beat is dope but I’m over the vocoder. You remix (”mash” really) with JUSTICE and I like it a little more. But only because it’s JUSTICE.
If you like that hard, sexy, crunchy, funky electro dance music then boy/girl do I got a doozy for you. Crash Overdrive. . . Ever heard of them? No, well you have now you have. This sounds like they put on a pair of shit-kickers and angel armor and straight stomped out a dumptruck in a mosh pit.
Now at first thought one would thing that mixing alcohol, heavy machinery, and loud, hard dance music in a gym with a bunch of party seekers on a Monday night would be ill advised or at least a bad idea. On the contrary, it’s the BEST GOSH DARN IDEA EVER!!!
SPL soldiers The Italians (Head&Hand and Alessio) and KAGE rolled up into CRUNCH Under The Gymfluence party and got wasted around some really beautiful and fit people; made me want to do more exercise than just lifting a pint glass to my mouth and clicking a remote. These are just some of the pics from this monster. There was circus s#it, a crazy dance floor, exotic dancers, and I almost made out with a cute ass photographer (Damn you whiskey lips!!!).
